We dream of wealth, we dream of happiness ,we dream of conquering the world and changing its fate.But we never walk down the path that could lead to those dreams becoming reality.The technologically advanced modern world is giving birth to human beings without compassion and kindness towards its fellow beings. Selma Lagerl of ,a famous Swedish writer in her famous work “The Rattrap” narrates the experience of a thief who had bitter experiences in his life and the compassion shown towards him by a lady called Edla Willmanson helped him to transform himself to a better human being.Helen Keller, a deaf and blind lady had contributed to this world as a great writer,lecturer and great social worker because of the love and affection given by her teacher Anne Sullivan.Adolf Hitler who wished to become an artist in his childhood became a harsh dictator due to lack of support from his family and teachers.We can transform this world if we are ready to stand together and if we are ready to empathize with others.The most important risk that we have been facing is lack of values in society and human relationships. We are molding a new generation addicted to internet,social medias ,drugs ,alcohol etc. Being a teacher I started pondering about the root cause of these problems.I can conclude that the root cause of all the problems faced by the young generation is broken family relationship and busy working schedules of parents.Parents often think that they can replace love with material things.There are parents who think that schools are responsible for the moral education of their children.They need to put more effort to form a bond in family relationship and they should gain trust and respect of their children.Its high time to mold a generation committed to the ideals,values,families,professions and personal life.The important fact that everyone should keep in mind is that we should respect our children and their personality and their emotions.Let’s hold our hands together to create a generation with values and concern towards their fellow beings.
