Guardian angels’ public school observed anti-drug day on November 1st under the leadership of class XII students. The program started with a  prayer by the students. Then the event was inaugurated by the honourable sub inspector of  Police Eloor, Mr. Jose Bendo. The school Manager, Fr.Titus Karikasery OCD presided over the function. The school Principal Rev. Fr. Nixon Jose OCD, ward councillor Mr. Rajesh, students Navitha K. P, Christy Godwin, Anagha K. S spoke against drugs. Students also performed an anti-drug flash mob. The children took a pledge against drug addiction and they also actively participated in the cycle rally against drugs. House officers Mr. Arun, Mr. Sahil and Mr. Anish were actively present in the function.

Honorable Sub Inspector of Eloor Mr. Jose Bendo asked the children to watch their friends themselves and if they see anything unusual, report it to the relavant authorities immediately. The school manager Fr. Titus Karikasery OCD said that children could be addicted to their lives  & dreams in different ways and through that they could prevent the use of drugs. Principal Rev. Fr. Nixon Jose OCD said that when friends or relatives notice changes in children who are addicted to drugs, they should take them to the right path by holding them together and showing them love. Student Navitha K. P informed about the after effects of drug addiction and how to fight against it. Christy Godwin and Anagha K S beautifully  presented some of the guidelines that today’s children should follow.

Then the school leader Christy Godwin took the anti-drug pledge. It was repeated by all the students  to fight against it.
