I asked my favourite question to my students ‘what makes you feel special? ‘ There were many responses.
The students of class 3 said: ‘I always speak truth’
‘I have brown eyes’
‘ I am a singer’
‘ Teachers love me’
The students of class 7 said: ‘ I have a special smile’.
‘ I approach everyone with a smile’
‘I am an open- minded person’
‘ No one can be like me’
‘ I am loved by others’
According to me as a teacher I am special because ‘ I enjoy who I am’
Every child is incredibly special. A divine masterpiece. we must instill a sense of each child’s extraordinary life within them .we must encourage their gifts,talents,and special dreams of which they have been given. Each child must know that they are one person with special abilities. And let them know that they are important.
Once Plato asked his master Socrates: Teacher,what is the greatest knowledge on earth ? Socrates replied: ‘ To know thyself ,is the greatest knowledge on earth.’
As ,a deer musk searches for the perfume of musk,the elephant who has never seen his biggest shape,many of us know nothing about us.Each and everyone of us are special,we have thousands of different talents and gifts hidden in all of us.But we fail to recognise them ,and live in distress and inferiority.
In fact ,If I think and act, I can change the world. This is what made a difference in the life of Socrates, sree Buddha,Abraham Lincoln,Martin Luther king and many other great persons.
“Aham bhrahmasmi thatwamasi”_I am the part of God,and you too.lf so ,we should feel proud and thrust in ourselves.It is good that we ask ourselves often,’ who am I? And find out hundred answers and then surely we can achieve self confidence.“Know oneself,grow confident,trust your abilities and the success will be yours”.
No one can change oneself ,they can only be lodestar to show the right path. We are talented ,so prove it. We are the fields where there are hidden treasures ,find them out , work hard ,make your own footsteps and be special!!
