Our country has started to celebrate the 75th Independence of our nation which last for 75 months. The culmination of the various activities and celebrations would be on 15th August 2023. As a part of Ghar Tiranga program our school hoisted the national flag on 13th August at 9.am by the Principal Rev. Fr. Nixon Jose evoking the contributions and sacrifices of our soldier martyrs of India. In his address he exhorted the students and teachers that as we experience freedom we ought to contribute our best for the growth and development of our nation in our own life sphere.
On 15th August 2022 the entire Guardian Angels’ Family Management, staff, students and parents assembled together at chamberlain open theatre to celebrate the 75th Independence Day of our nation with various cultural Events. The chief guest Mr. Rajesh AR, the Motor Vehicle inspector, Ernakulum graced the occasion. The flag hoisting ceremony was followed by March fast, Independence Day messages by chief guest, School Manager Fr. Titus, Principal Fr. Nixon Jose, Vice Principal Mrs. Ramsy, Teacher representative Mrs. Linda, Head girl, Ms. Aami Raj, Head boy Master Christy Godwin, KG representative Nivedhya, Neha Subin & Julina from grade 4th. The enthralling showbiz like mime, patriotic song, patriotic dance and display aroused among children the spirit of loyalty to the nation. The platform also was used to honour the pass out students of grades 10th & 12th 2022 batch. The students who scored 85% and above were much-admired by awarding mementos by the chief guest while all others were given medals as a token of appreciation. A Special note of appreciation was conferred to Ms. Aamiraj for 98.8% in AISSE 2022 especially for obtaining 100 /100 in the subject Science. She was presented with memento and cash.
It was a proud moment in the history of the Guardian Angels Public School to do honour Ms. Aswathy Sajeevan 2017 10th Batch for the captivating achievement getting 2nd rank in BSc Industrial Chemistry in MG University. She was awarded with memento and gifts. Vysakhi of grade 5th was esteemed with certificates and medals for her remarkable performance in aquatic events held at state level. She is qualified for National level. Mr. Saji Joy the coach of Santhosh Trophy Goal Keeper, a native Manjummel was well-regarded by ponnada by the school Manager and a Memento by the Chief Guest. A special note of appreciation and reputes were extended to Mr. Saji Joy by the Principal for being appointed as the main coach of Kerala Blasters of women’s team. Mr. K A Nazir the management committee member expressed his great appreciation to all the pass out students of grades X & XII for the captivating result, and sincere gratitude to Teachers, Non- teaching staff and the students for enchanting events on stage. The 90 minutes program of Azadi Ka Amrith Mahotsav was so fascinating, meaningful and inspiring.
