Our Annual Day ‘DEEPTATARA -2022’ was held in two phases on December 16thand 17th. The Eighteenth Annual Day of Guardians Angels’ Public School for the junior section (L.K.G- CLASS III) was held on Friday, December 16. Children from LKG to class III presented programs keeping the theme Heritage of India. The function started at 3 PM and ended at 6: 30 PM.
The dignitaries who chaired & graced the Deepta Tara 2022 were Mr. Bijumon S.P, Motor Vehicle Inspector, Ernakulam, Rev. Fr. Godwin Timothy O.C.D, Provincial Councillor, and Rev.Fr. Titus Karikassery. OC.D, School Manager, Rev. Fr. Dipin Das. O.C.D, Co-Operative Manager, Rev. Fr. Nixon Jose OCD, School Principal, Mrs.Ramsy M.J, Vice Principal, Mrs. Sharon Dixit, PTA Representative & Mr BINU ADIMALI, Star Magic Fame.
The Annual Day started with a devotional melody by the school choir. The students of class II performed a welcome dance on the theme of Cultural Heritage. The welcome speech was delivered by Tolsto Logesh of class III A. Presidential address by the School Manager Rev. Fr. Titus was followed by the inauguration by Mr. Bijumon SP and delivered the keynote address.The children of LKG the class presented a fashion show called Azadi Ki Sena. The tiny tots of the L.K.G. section captivated the audience. They disguised themselves as brave leaders who took part in the freedom struggle. The Benedictory Address was delivered by Rev. Fr. Godwin Timothy OCD Provincial Councilor. The students of class II made a display titled India’s Journey to Freedom. The great historical display was really a visual treat for the audience. The main attraction of the annual day was the presence of Star Magic Fame Mr.Binu Adimali, a Malayalam film actor who had distributed prizes to the children who excelled in curricular 7 extra- curricular activities of the school. He honoured the students with mementos and certificates. Rev. Fr. Dipin Das. O.C.D, the Corporate Manager gave the felicitation speech. Soon after the felicitation School Principal Fr. Nixon Jose. O.C.D presented the Digital Report of the bygone Academic year. Colours of India by the children of the KG section captured the audience by the mesmerizing performance. This was followed by a Musical Drama performed by the children of LKG classes in which the song Odi vilayad Papa was visualized. A dance invoking the idea of India’s unity in diversity was performed by the children of Class I. Mrs. Sharon, PTA Representative and Management Committee Member delivered the felicitation. The Conclusion Dance was performed by the students of Class II, it was a display of the achievements and prosperity that India has achieved since independence since 75 years. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Eva Merlin, a student of Class IV B. Deepta Tara 2022 by the Junior Section held on 16th December was concluded with a National Anthem leaving a beautiful message to nurture an honest loyalty to Our Nation.
