Students of Guardian Angels’ Public School, Manjummel celebrated their annual day ‘’ Deepta  Tara” on 10^th January, 2020 with great elation and gesto. Deepta tara -2020 was  inaugurated by Mr C.C Augustin, Charanghat, Kerala State legal Advisor Very Rev Dr Augustine Mulloor OCD Provincial of Manjummel Province presided the function. The Benedictory Address was delivered by the School Manager, Rev Fr Varghese  Kanichukkattu OCD. Cine Artist Mr Ajay Kumar honoured the students who had proven their proficiency in academics., and co- curricular activities. Mrs C.P Usha chairperson, Eloor municipality and Mrs Biji Subramanyan,  Rev Fr Dipin  Das OCD, Corporate Manager, Manjummel Province, Mr Emilson V.V ,PTA Representative felicitated the gathering. Flood relief volunteer, Mr Sunil Kumar was honoured with memento and ‘ ponnada ‘. The Chief Guest Mr C.C Augustine and Provincial of Manjummel Province Very Rev Dr Augustine Mulloor OCD handed over to Mr Sunil Kumar an amount of Rupees  One Lakh ensuring the fishermen. The school Provincial as well as Provincial Councillor incharge of education Rev Fr Nixon Jose OCD exhorted on the importance of showing compassion and concern towards our fellow human beings. The Assistant Principal Rev Fr John Joseph OCD Presented the school Annual report. Eloor Municipality Chairperson Mrs C.P Usha released the school Magazine, ‘’ Angelic Vibes” -2020 and handedover to the Provincial Counillor Rev Fr Antony Ponvelil OCD. The cultural programmes by the students were based on the theme, ‘’Stay Green, Go  Red, “ that exemplified the significance of protecting nature. The students entertained the  audience with their magnificient dance performances, musical drama and theme based skit. The annual day function was  concluded with the vote of thanks by Master Lawrence. The triumph was made possible by the relentless efforts  of our Principal Rev Fr Nixon Jose OCD.
