As heavy rain and the flood has destroyed several homes in our area the school authorities have stepped up to do their part in aiding the ongoing relief process . Teachers had collected aid for flood hit people in  Manjummel area and also distributed to the students affected by the flood .Our school functioned as a relief camp during the time of flood and had provided all the facilities for the people camped in our school . The school offered textbooks  free of cost for all the students who had lost their books during the devastating flood . School has also arranged uniform material for the students at a lowest price which should be paid only during the month of December . The Principal had visited all the classes on the re-opening day to know about the condition of all students after the flood and motivated them with his words of inspiration . The school has arranged measures  to contribute to the Chief Minister ’s  relief  fund through the  CBSE management association .Teachers had visited the flood hit areas  and extended help  for the people by providing dresses to them.
