Marking the freedom and glory of the nation, our school proudly celebrated the 75^th Independence Day of our nation virtually with great enthusiasm and respect  by following the Covid-19 protocol.The virtual celebration began with the invocation by Maria Sony of Grade XI .On the glorious occasion of Independence Day celebration Angeleena Reejo of grade VIII delivered the welcome speech.Honourable Chief Guest of the day,Rev.Fr.Benny Acharuparambil OCD, Provincial Councilor, Manjummel Province hoisted the National Flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem as well as expressed the joy of freedom by saluting the National Flag. The Chief Guest of the day,Rev.Fr.Benny Acharuparambil OCD as well as the Special Guest,Dr.Dhaneesh (Physician, St:Joseph Hospital, Manjummel) honoured the the toppers of CBSE Board Examination AISSE and AISSCE 2021 by awarding momento and cash prize.The real and worthy celebration of the day was honouring the forefront warriors of Covid-19.The Chief Guest of the day,Rev.Fr.Benny Acharuparambil honoured Dr.Dhaneesh for his worthy service during the covid -19 pandemic by handing over the momento and thereafter the school Principal Rev.Fr.Nixon Jose OCD honoured him with “ponnada”.Honourable Chief Guest Rev.Fr.Benny Acharuparambil honoured the health workers in our locality for their priceless service and sacrifice during the time of Covid-19 pandemic. The school Principal, Rev.Fr.Nixon Jose OCD presided the function and adding on to the vigour and celebrations of the Independence Day spoke about the importance of freedom as well as appreciated and thanked the forefront warriors of Covid-19 especially doctors and health workers in our locality and congratulated the toppers of AISSCE and AISSE.Patriotic song sung by the teachers as well as students and Independence day message by the students in three different languages added the fervour of patriotic spirit. A musical drama was performed by the students in dedication to the service of the forefront warriors of Covid-19, the real heroes like doctors and health workers.Management Committee Representative, Mr.K.A.Nazir expressed his gratitude towards the school management for their relentless service even during the time of Covid-19.
