After two years of covid induced restrictions,the customary fun and excitement associated with school reopening were set to return to the campus …….

The inaugural ceremony of the new academic year was held on June 1^st,Wednesday 2022 at 10am.Rev.Dr.Bosco Correya OCD, Vicar provincial in charge of formation was the chief guest. Manager Rev.Fr.Titus karikkassery OCD presided over the function. Principal Rev.Fr. Nixon Jose OCD, Vice principal Mrs.Ramsy M J were also present for the ceremony.

A very special formal function paved way for the commencement of the new academic year. The ceremony started with the prayer dance by the students of class 8 and 9.

Navitha K P of class 12 delivered the welcome speech. It was followed by the reading of the holy books .Bible verses were read by Angeleena reejo  of class 9,Stanzas from the Gita was read by swastika shilin of class 9 and The Quran was read by Adeena  k hansar of class 5.

Next, the prayer for intentions was read by Sachin V.S, Annfreya Tony and Chris Bapsy of class 9.

Chief guest  Rev.Dr.Bosco Correya OCD ,Inaugurated the new academic year by lightining the candle and imparting the light of knowledge upon us. Manager Rev.Fr. Titus karikkassery OCD, Principal Rev.Fr.Nixon Jose OCD, Vice Principal Mrs. Ramsy M J, Staff representative Neetha E A, Student representative Megha Joseph also joined for the sacred ceremony.

Rev.Dr. Bosco Correya in his message mentioned the role of education in the life and society and about the process of learning and teaching shifting to new and innovative realms.

Rev.Fr.Titus karikkassery OCD,School manager delivered the presidential address.He emphasized the need to ensure quality education to all the students in this unparalleled covid scenario

It was followed by the prize distribution to Vaishaki K S of class 6 who brought laurels to the school in various swimming competitions held in district and state level.Prizes were also distributed to the best camper for the summer coaching camp held from April to May .Abhay Praveen of class 9 and Maria Jewel of Class 7 were selected as the best campers.

The teachers oath was read out by Vice principal Mrs.Ramsy and  teachers joined on stage for the oath.It was followed by the students oath led by school leaders Megha Joseph and K T Xavier.

Next was a melodious Song  by swathika and group which led everyone into a soulful moment.

Song was followed by felicitation by Principal Fr.Nixon Jose OCD which fostered support and positivity in young minds.

Student felicitation was by Riffin of class 6 ,which was followed by teacher felicitation by Ms.Akshaya.

The chief guest Rev.Dr. Bosco Correya was honoured with a token of love by Respected Manager  Rev.Fr.Titus karikkassery  and Principal Rev.Fr.Nixon Jose .

Finally the programme came to an end with the vote of thanks by Annfreya tony of  class 9  at 11.am
