Guardian Angels’ Public School, Manjummel commemorated the world anti-drug day by organizing various activities in collaboration with Nalla padam project. Chief Guest ACP Abdul Salam Sir, from Kochi Narcotics, graced the event while Rev. Fr. Vinu Joseph OCD, the Principal, presided over it. The Chief Guest presented the prizes for the reading day competitions. The gathering was felicitated by Safarin, the student representative. The day was made special also by the investiture ceremony where the school leaders and the leaders of various clubs took the oath and received their badges from the Chief Guest. A musical drama was performed by Class 12 students highlighting the dangers of drug addiction. Following that, all the students took a pledge against the use of drugs. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Christy Godwin.
